New CD

November 24, 2009

"Maracaípe – Guitar Duos and Solos by Gnattali & Assad", the first recording from the Beijing Guitar Duo will be released on December 1, 2009. The new CD includes a new composition for two guitars, “Maracaípe” which is written for and dedicated to the Beijing Guitar Duo by Sergio Assad.

New York Debut

As recipients of the "Solomon H. Snyder Award", the Beijing Guitar Duo will play their New York debut recital at Carnegie Hall's Weil Recital Hall on April 9, 2010 at 8:00 pm. The program will include both solos and duos.

San Francisco with Maestro Barrueco

The Beijing Guitar Duo have been invited to take part in a recital of their mentor Manuel Barrueco in San Francisco, CA on April 29, 2010. In this concert they will perform in trio with Maestro Barrueco, in a new composition written for this occasion by Sergio Assad called "Enchanted Island".
